Legacy installations
Manage Gloo Gateway setups that were intalled using the legacy Helm charts.
In Gloo Gateway 2.3 and later, the gloo-mesh-enterpise, gloo-mesh-agent, and other included Helm charts are considered legacy. If you installed Gloo Gateway by using these legacy Helm charts, or if you used meshctl version 2.2 or earlier to install Gloo Gateway, migrate your legacy installation to the new gloo-platform Helm chart.

Migrate to the gloo-platform Helm chart: Migrate from the legacy Helm charts to the 'gloo-platform' Helm chart.

Install managed gateway proxies: Use the Gloo management plane to install managed gateway proxies into one or more clusters.

Upgrade managed gateway proxies: Use the Gloo management plane to upgrade gateway proxies in one or more clusters.

Modify legacy Helm chart values: Modify the values in the legacy Gloo Gateway Helm charts.

Verify legacy Helm charts: Verify the integrity and origin of legacy Helm charts.

Upgrade legacy installations: Upgrade the version of Gloo Gateway in your management and remote clusters.

Uninstall legacy installations: Uninstall Gloo Gateway components, such as the control plane, agent, gateway proxies, and sample apps.
