Solo build of Istio version 1.24.3 patch release.
This release note describes the changes of Solo builds between Istio versions 1.24.2 and 1.24.3.
General

This version was built against upstream Istio release 1.24.3.
  • Added support for multi-cluster, see ambientmesh.io.
  • Added support for peer metadata lookup in ztunnel.
  • Added egress policies to ztunnel, see ambientmesh.io.
  • Backported fix for gateway-level filters so they do not apply connect_originate.
