Import the Cilium dashboard

If your cluster uses the Cilium CNI such as when you installed Gloo Network, you can use the Cilium dashboard to monitor the health of the Cilium agent, Cilium operator, and Hubble. Note that Cilium metrics that are related to the Cilium service mesh are not included in this dashboard.

Before you begin

Enable Cilium metrics in your environment.

Import the Cilium dashboard

1. Set up and access Grafana in your cluster. If you have an existing Grafana instance, you can skip this step.

2. Import the Gloo Platform operations dashboard.

   1. Download the JSON file that holds the configuration for the Gloo Platform operations dashboard.
   2. From the Grafana menu, select + > Import.
   3. Click Upload JSON file and select the file for the Cilium dashboard that you downloaded.
   4. Click Import to open the Cilium dashboard.

3. Explore Cilium metrics that are set up when you installed Gloo.
