This release note describes the changes of Solo builds between Istio versions 1.24.3 and 1.24.4.

Security Notice

This build includes resolution of Envoy CVE-2025-30157. In this CVE, Envoy could crash when HTTP ext_proc filter processed local replies. This only affected Istio users who utilized the ext_proc filter via an EnvoyFilter.

General

This version was built against upstream Istio release 1.24.4.

No other Solo-specific changes were included in this build.
