Forward requests to a destination
After you configure your route table, you can use it to forward requests to services within one cluster, services across clusters, or services external to the cluster.
Route within one cluster: Route incoming requests directly to a Kubernetes service within one cluster.
Route across clusters: Route incoming requests to services across multiple clusters.
Route to external services: Route incoming requests to a service external to the cluster.
Additional route settings: Configure additional route table settings, such as setting a default destination or weighted routing to version subsets.
