Prepare to install

Before you install Gloo Gateway, review the following recommendations and requirements to prepare your environment, and install the meshctl CLI.

• Install the meshctl CLI: Use the Gloo command line interface (CLI) tool, meshctl, to set up and manage Gloo Gateway.

• Licensing: Get Gloo Platform licenses and manage them in your environment.

• Installation options: Learn about your options for installing Gloo Gateway in your environment.

• System requirements: Review minimum requirements and required network settings.
